However, not everyone saw their value rise following Sunday’s outing. The secondary suffered significant setbacks as cornerbacks D J Reed, Roger McCreary, and Rock Ya Sin struggled to contain Geno Smith’s aerial assault. Together they surrendered 166 yards and two touchdowns without managing a single pass breakup. Their tendency to bite on routes and commit costly penalties nearly gifted the game back to New York, leaving head coach Aaron Glenn with plenty to address before facing Carolina on Sunday night.
